Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Brenda grew up enjoying diverse styles of culture, art, and music. Music is intricately woven throughout Brenda’s life. Her southwest roots, family heritage, and personal passions have carved her diverse musical journey. Brenda unites with other musicians who believe music can bring healing to the deepest parts of the soul. So, if she's stage performing, teaching music to a group of 4 year olds, singing on a praise team, or singing and acting for a supporting role in a Christmas musical, Brenda uses her vocal talent and songwriting skills to reach out to people. Brenda currently lives in the heart of East Texas piney woods continuing to surround herself with the thing she is inspired by most..."the uniqueness and beauty of God!"
Brenda has cut three discography albums: Give Praise, Only Who You Are, and All of God's Kids. She has also contributed music to the Songwriter's Gathering CD project of scripture songs.
